Roy N. Pace, 70

Private memorial services for former Omaha resident Roy N. Pace, 70, of Blair will be held on Friday, Aug. 24, 2001. Mr. Pace died Tuesday, Aug. 21 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha.

Roy N. Pace was born Oct. 11, 1930, in Shelby to Pearl and Claribell (Thompson) Pace.

On May 12, 1951, he married Thelma Jean Rasmussen in Herman. He entered the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and served from October 1951 to July 1953.

He was later employed at the Zorinsky Building as an assistant field operations manager for 30 years. He was a resident of Omaha for 30 years, and had resided in Blair for the past two years.

He is survived by his wife, Jean, son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Sue Pace of Lincoln, daughters and sons-in-law, Jeaniel and Bruce Barrett of Canaan, N.H., Teri and Robert Lachapelle of Omaha, six grandchildren, and a brother, Earl Pace of Ralston.

Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church of Blair, or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 2665 Farnam St., Omaha, NE, 68131.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
