Letha Jorgensen Pagel, 87

Services for Letha Jorgensen Pagel, who died October 1, 1995 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Burial will be at Poy Sippi Cemetery in Poy Sippi, Wisconsin.

Letha Jorgensen (did not list birth) in Poy Sippi, Wisconsin. She attended the Copenhagen School in Wisconsin and began working at the age of 14.

She married Alfred J. Pagel October 26, 1928 in Poy Sippi. They operated a grocery store and meat market in Poy Sippi for 24 years. She moved to Blair in 1970 where she resided with her son until her death.

She was actively involved with Love Days, church circle, Golden Friends and was an Ambassador volunteer at First Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; an infant son and five brothers and sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Lorraine and her husband, Bill Jensen of Minneapolis; a son, Phil of Blair; two grandchildren and their spouses, Kathy and Mark Allen of Minneapolis and Jim and Pam Jensen of Minneapolis; one great-grandson, Spencer Allen, also of Minneapolis; two sisters, Louise Hempel of Waupaca, Wisconsin and Ruth Olson of Berline, Wisconsin and one brother, Palmer Jorgensen of Blair.

The family suggests memorials be given to the Washington County Home Health-Hospice Program, First Lutheran Church in Blair or Dana College.
