Hildreth Paine

Services for Hildreth H. (Curly) Paine, 58, who died Wednesday, October 9, 1985, in his home, will be Friday, October 11, at the Campbell Funeral Home at 11 a.m. The Rev. Carl Schattauer will officiate and burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Paine was born June 12, 1927, the son of Andrew and Helen Paine. He worked for Blair Manufacturing for 25 years and later for Pedersen Construction. He was a member of the Blair Eagles and a World War II veteran.

Survivors include two sons, Carl of Blair and Thomas of Herman; three daughters, Mrs. Dan (Susan) Gunchick of Blair, Mrs. Steve (Jean) Beck of Blair, and Mrs. Robert (Mary) Blobaum of Morgantown, West Virginia; two brothers, Everett of Blair and Lowell of Denver, Colorado; five sisters, Lois Widmark of Ivanhoe, Minnesota, Verna Vanek of Lincoln, Evelyn Greene of Silver Spring, Maryland; Tessa Haas of Searcy, Arkansas, and Carol Noel of St. Paul; and three grandchildren.
