Funeral services for Robert H. Paeper, 31, of Nickerson, were held on Wednesday, January 13, at Salem Lutheran Church of Fonantelle. Rev. C. Vander-Stoep officiated. Burial was in Salem Lutheran Cemetery.

Robert H. Paeper was born on November 3, 1950, at Fremont, and had lived his entire lifetime in the rural Nickerson area. Upon graduation from Hooper High School in 1968, he attended the Milford technical School before engaging in farming until his death in an Omaha hospital on January 11, 1982, following a brief illness.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Alma Paeper of Hooper; two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Ruth) Brown of Nickerson and Mrs. Donald (Mary) Hansen of Stanton, Nebraska; three nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry G. Paeper, in 1969, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Music for the service was provided by Mrs. Margaret Strenger, organist, and congregational singing.

Warne Funeral Home, Hooper, was in charge of arrangements for the services.
