| Glenn L. “Dick” Palmantier, age 77, of Tekamah, died Friday, May 26, 1989 at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, Nebraska after a sudden illness.
Dick was born on August 17, 1911 at Tekamah to Robert and Nellie (Stitchler) Palmantier. He was employed by Swift & Co. Meat Packers in Sioux City, Iowa, where he worked for over fifty years. For several years prior to his retiring six year ago, Dick worked for the City of Tekamah Maintenance Department. He married Elsie Fowler on September 17, 1981 in Tekamah.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie of Tekamah; and one step-daughter, Evelyn Fuehrer of Grants Pass, Oregon.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents and one step-son, Donald Ross.
Funeral Services were May 30, at the First Presbyterian Church in Tekamah with Rev. Marion H. Knoell officiating. Interment was in the Tekamah Cemetery.
