SERVICE SET FOR BENNINGTON FARMER

George C. Ramser, 79, Rural Route, Bennington, retired farmer, passed away Friday, June 25, at the Nebraska Methodist Hospital after an illness of about one week.

He was born July 15, 1902, at Arlington. He was a lifetime resident of the area and a veteran of World War II. He served in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mildred Ramser, of Lewiston, Idaho; nephews, C.W. Ramser, of Houston, Texas; and Earl W. Ramser of Clarkston, Washington; two nieces, Mrs. Dorothy Lanier and Mrs. Carole Becker, both of Lewiston, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services are Tuesday, June 29, at 10 a.m. at Rozanek Colonial Funeral Home in Arlington. Officiating will be Rev. Gerald E. Senn of Arlington Community Church.

Memorial has been established for the Arlington Rescue Squad. Burial will be in the Elk City Cemetery in Elk City, Nebraska.
