FANNIE C. RAND, 87
Fannie Catherine Rand, 87, of Missouri Valley, Ia. passed away Oct. 25, 1988.
Fannie was born on Dec. 27, 1900 in Missouri Valley to Abraham Haight and Minnie (McIntosh) Haight.
She married Tjarbe Rand on Aug. 9, 1939 in the Grace Presbyterian Church in Council Bluffs, Ia.
Fannie taught school many years in Harrison County. She was a member of the Bridge Club, JHM Club, the Presbyterian Womens Club and the Phi Mui.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Patricia Rand of Missouri Valley; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Roger Wohlers of Anaheim, Ca.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Oct. 28 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Presbyterian Church in Missouri Valley with the Rev. Gerald Kuyk officiating.
Interment was at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Missouri Valley and the funeral arrangements were handled by the Hennessey-VanCleave-Hurley Funeral Home.
