DOROTHY RAND, 77
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 7, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home for Dorothy Rand, 77, of Blair who died Wednesday, April 4, 1990 at Good Shepherd Home.
Dorothy May Rand was born June 27, 1912 in Glidden, Iowa to Arthur Edward and Gertrude Gray Ochampaugh. She graduated from Logan High School.
She moved to Missouri Valley, Iowa and taught school for 19 years. She retired from teaching when she married Jacob Rand June 27, 1951.
They moved to Blair in 1961. She had resided at Good Shepherd Home since October, 1987.
She was a member of the Omaha Rose Society and the Blair Rose Society. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Missouri Valley for over 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Floyd Ochampaugh in 1986.
She is survived by her husband, Jacob, Blair; four sisters, Beatrice Sall, Crescent, Iowa; Helen Tornkvist of Woodbine, Iowa; Grace White, Sun City, Arizona and Lillian Sorenson of Burlington, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
