VICTOR J. RANSLEM, 84
Services were Friday, December 22 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont for Victor J. Ranslem, 84 of Fremont who died December 20, 1989 at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont. Rev. Tom Magnuson officiated. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery in North Bend.
Victor J. Ranslem was born March 9, 1905 in Cedar Bluffs. He farmed north of North Bend, in the Webster area, until 1949 when he moved to Fremont. He then worked at Plumfield Nurseries and DeKalb Seed Company.
He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
He married Carol L. Haun June 12, 1929 at Scribner. She preceded him in death on August 9, 1983.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann (Mrs. Robert) Dostal of Midland, Michigan; two brothers, John of Gardina, California and Eugene of Omaha; three sisters, Della Card of Omaha, Marie Sanders of Walnut Creek, California, and Lovina Varley of Blair; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont was in charge of arrangements for the services.
