NICKERSON FARMER PASSED AWAY THURSDAY MORNING
A Nickerson, Nebraska, farmer, Herman K. Raschig, passed away Thursday morning at his farm near Nickerson. Services for Mr. Raschig were at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Reckmeyer Funeral Chapel in Arlington.
Mr. Raschig was born November 20, 1894 in Germany. He was 77 at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude and son Clarence, both of Nickerson. Mr. and Mrs. Raschig were married in Indiana in 1923 and have lived in this area for 22 years.
Burial was in the St. Paul’s Cemetery north of Arlington with Rev. Ernest Eckhart officiating.
