Edward Anderson died Sunday morning, June 16th, at his home in Blair after a lingering illness of consumption at the age of 38 years. The funeral occurred Monday at one o'clock from the Presbyterian church, the sermon being preached by the pastor, Rev. Geo. Williams. The funeral took place at Thone cemetery, up on York Creek. A wife and three small children are left in very poor circumstances.

Ed Anderson, who has been a sufferer with consumption for the past two years, died last Sunday morning at three o'clock at his home in Blair. The funeral services were conducted at one o'clock Monday, in the Presbyterian church at this place, Rev. Geo. Williams officiating, and the remains were interred in the Thone cemetery. Mr. Anderson was thirty-eight years of age at the time of his death and leaves a wife and three children to mourn his loss. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved family in this the loss of a father and husband.
