MRS. ANENA RASMUSSEN DIED TUESDAY, JUNE 11th

Mrs. Anena Rasmussen, of 725 North 30th Street, Blair, died Tuesday, June 11th at the Blair Hospital. She was 68 years of age, having been born November 26th, 1905. Her birthplace was at Kennard, in Washington county.

Her husband had preceded her in death.

She is survived by five sons and two daughters. The sons are Calvin Rasmussen of Scranton, Iowa; David of Helena, Montana; Philip of Leland, Iowa; and Leo and Paul, both of Wilton, Iowa. The daughters are Mrs. John Mehr of Dale City, Virginia; and Mrs. Carol Bashara of Alexandria, Va. There are 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Rasmussen is also survived by five sisters. They are Mrs. Carrie Kronberg, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Nels Larsen of Herman; Mrs. Torvel Andersen and Mrs. Dora Knudsen, both of Blair; and Mrs. William Cunningham of Nickerson.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 15th at the First Lutheran Church. The Rev. Sanford Sorgen conducted the service. Burial was made in the Kennard Cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Harvey Knusen, Wendell Kronberg, Merle Andersen, Russell Suverkrubbe, Russell Cunningham and Clifford Larsen.
