SERVICES HELD FOR 91 YEAR OLD CARL RASMUSSEN

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 10th, for 91 year old Carl Rasmussen of the Good Shepherd Home, in Blair. Mr. Rasmussen died on Wednesday, May 7th, 1980.

The funeral services were held at the First Lutheran Church with Rev. John Petersen officiating. Burial was in the Orum Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Funeral Home.

Mr. Rasmussen was born at Orum on August 13, 1887. He was married to the former Carrie Iversen who preceded him in death. The couple farmed in the Orum area. Four children survive them. They are: Ivan Rasmussen, Blair; Mrs. Clifford (Virginia) Soll, Blair; Mrs. Delmar (Leola) Case, Oakland, Iowa; Mrs. William (Loretta) Pruner, Denver, Colorado; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding them(?) in death were his wife, one son, two daughters, four sisters and two brothers.

Pallbearers are: James Andreasen, Edward Hansen, LeRoy Kuhr, Kenneth Rahlfs, Harold Rasmussen and Howard Taylor.
