CLARA RASMUSSEN DIES THURSDAY

Miss Clara Rasmussen, a long-time resident of Blair, died in Omaha December 10, 1981. She had served as Deputy County Clerk here for eight years before going to Omaha where she was employed by the Federal land Bank for 30 years.

She was 84 years of age at the time of her death, having been born October 30, 1897, in Washington County to Jorgen and Christina Rasmussen.

She was a member of Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church in Omaha. She had shared her musical talents through membership in the choir of the church for over 30 years.

She has no relatives surviving, but was a close friend of the Mrs. Adeline Taylor family in Blair.

Funeral services were held at Crosby Kunold Funeral Home in Omaha on Monday, December 14, with Dr. Paul M. DeFreese conducting them. Services, conducted by Rev. Kurt Sortland, were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Campbell Mortuary in Blair. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers were John Domian, William Taylor, Sr., Jim Taylor, Stanley Taylor, William Taylor, Jr., and Kenneth Taylor.
