ESKE RASMUSSEN, 83, BURIED OCTOBER 1st

Mr. Eski Rasmussen, a resident of the Good Shepherd Home for the past seven years, passed away on September 30th at the Home. He was born November 3rd, 1887 in Randers, Denmark and came to the United States at the age of 22. He made his home with his Uncle and Aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Rasmussen near Kennard for several years. He served four years in the navy in World War I, and was an interior decorator at Orchard and Whilhelm Store in Omaha for many years before retiring.

He is survived by five cousins in this area. They are Mrs. Helena Misfeldt, Mrs. Leo Miller, Mrs. Anna Andersen, Mrs. George Frank and Mr. Elmer Rasmussen.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 1st at the Bendorf Funeral Home and burial was in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha. The Rev. Robert Albers officiated.

Pallbearers were Daryl Miller, Ivan and Norman Misfeldt, Alvin Andersen, Henry Kroeger and Donald Frank.
