SERVICES HELD FOR HENRY RASMUSSEN
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at First Lutheran Church for Henry Rasmussen, 97, who died April 8, 1983, at the Hallmark Care Center in Omaha.
The Rev. Carl Schattauer, Jr., will officiate. Burial will be in the Herman Cemetery.
Henry Rasmussen was born February 3, 1886, at Herman to Rasmus and Petrine Jensen Rasmussen. A farmer, he married Amanda Knudsen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Amanda; and one brother.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Kellerman, Omaha, and Mrs. Pearl Silva, Blair. Nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one sister, Elsie Knudsen, Blair, also survive him.
Ray Fagerquist, LeRoy Larsen, LeRoy Spiker, Stanley Hovendick, Wes Sprick and David Rasmussen will be pallbearers.
Clare Cowing will be organist.
Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
