BROTHER OF BLAIR MAN DIED LAST FRIDAY

Howard L. Rasmussen, a brother of Harold W. Rasmussen of Blair, died last Friday, January 11th at Memorial Hospital at Fremont. The address of the deceased was Glendale, California.

He was born in Washington County February 1, 1896 and was 77 years of age at his death. He moved to California from Washington County in 1935.

He was a member of the American Legion at Glendale, the deceased having been a Veteran of World War I.

He was married May 14, 1919, in Washington County to Miss Minnie Johnson who survives his death.

Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Orwyn Thrasher (Rosalie) of Golden Hills, California; a brother, Harold W. Rasmussen of Blair; 2 sisters, Mrs. Merton Cornelius (Pearl) of Omaha and Mrs. Merle Newkirk (Sarah) of Arlington. There are two grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church at Fremont, the Rev. Dwight Steiner officiating. Burial under the direction of the Moser Memorial Chapel was made in Ridge Cemetery.
