IMO RASMUSSEN, 95

Services for Imo Rasmussen, 95 who died June 30, 1994 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair are Tuesday, June 30, 1994 at First Congregational Church, U.C.C., at Fremont. Rev. Shirley Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery at Fremont.

Imo Rasmussen was born November 25, 1898 at Leshara, Nebraska. She grew up in Saunders County, Nebraska. Before her marriage she lived in South Dakota for two years and then came to Fremont where she had lived until moving to Crowell Memorial Home in Blair earlier this year.

She was a member of First Congregational Church, U.C.C., in Fremont and the Golden Rule Rebehak Lodge No. 59 in Fremont.

She married Fred Rasmussen May 10, 1921 at Winner, South Dakota. He preceded her in death April 12, 1980.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ane Marie Christensen; a son, Lyle; brothers, Adolph Christensen and James Christensen; and sisters, Hattie Christensen, Anna Christensen, Nora Larson and Emma Nelson.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Carl F. and Gloria Rasmussen of Blair; four grandsons; one granddaughter; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Michael Rasmussen, Chris Rasmussen, John Rasmussen, Andrew Rasmussen and Lowell Christensen.

Robin Willians is the organist. Denise Lueke is soloist.

Memorials may go to the Women’s Fellowship of First Congregational Church in Fremont or the Nebraska Children’s Home in Omaha.

Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
