SERVICES ARE WEDNESDAY FOR LAURETS K. RASMUSSEN

Services were held Friday, October 7 at First Lutheran Church in Blair for Laurets K. Rasmussen, 68, who died October 3, 1983.

The Rev. Kurt Sortland and the Rev. Carl F. Schattauer, Jr., officiated. Burial was in Blair Cemetery.

Laurets Kennedy Rasmussen was born July 29, 1915, in Lincoln to Louis J. and Grace Kennedy Rasmussen. He farmed north of Blair and north of Fort Calhoun.

He married Erdine Wulf on June 25, 1945. She died January 22, 1964. In 1965, he married Hilda Schumacher.

In addition to his wife, Erdine, he was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter, Anita.

He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lee (Joyce) Johnson of Dixon, Nebraska; Mrs. Thomas (Janette) Kingsley of Stanton, Nebraska; Mrs. Jim (Diane) Heath of Cochise, Arizona; and Mrs. Hong (Joanne) Le of Beaverton, Oregon; one son, Keith Rasmussen, San Diego, California; one stepson, Dennis Schumacher of Fremont; and one stepdaughter, Mrs. Robert (Wendy) Reznicek of Howells, Nebraska. Two brothers, John Rasmussen of St. Paul, Oregon; and Ross Rasmussen of Hooper, Nebraska; one sister, Mrs. Lyle (Margaret) Stock of Murdock, Nebraska; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive him.

Pallbearers were Jim Heath, Lee Johnson, Thomas Kingsley, Hong Le, Keith Rasmussen, and Eldon Wulf.

Clare Cowing was organist. Homer Nielsen was vocalist.
