Dorothy E. Anderson, 72, of Blair, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, April 20, at Campbell-Aman Fuenral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Dorothy E. Jensen was born Aug. 6, 1934, in Westbrook, Maine, to Edward and Carrie (Hansen) Jensen. She graduated from Westbrook High School in 1952, and graduated from Dana College in 1956.

On August 4, 1956, she married James O. Anderson in Westbrook.

Mrs. Anderson taught elementary school in Blair from 1974 to 1996. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and was active in the church choir.

She is survived by her husband, James; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Jacque Anderson of Guymon, Okla.; daughter and son-in-law, Karna and Dwight Dam of Hooper; four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Dr. Andrew Jensen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to educational scholarship funds.
