KENNARD MAN SUCCUMBS THURS.

An invalid for many years, Rasmus M. Rasmussen died at his home at 520 W. Lincoln St. in Blair, September 26, 1957.

The deceased was born May 4th, 1900 at Kennard, Nebraska. He never married. He was cared for in later years by his brother and sisters.

He is survived by one brother, Elmer M. Rasmussen and 4 sisters, Mrs. Anna Anderson, Mrs. Charles Misfeldt, Mrs. George Frank, Mrs. Leo Miller, all of Blair and Mrs. Hannah Hasselstrom of Burley, Idaho.

Funeral services were held Sunday, September 29th at the Bendorf Funeral Home with Rev. H.C. Jorgensen officiating. Mrs. C.N. Sutton was soloist.

Interment was made in the Prairie View Cemetery near Washington, Nebraska.

RASMUSSEN IS DEAD, AGE 57

LONGTIME INVALID, BLAIRITE 40 YEARS, SUCCUMBS TO HIS AILMENT

An invalid most of his life, 57-year-old Rasmus M. Rasmussen died early last Thursday at the home of his sister, Mrs. Charles Misfeldt, 510 West Lincoln St., where he had resided in recent years.

Mr. Rasmussen, long ill, had been cared for in turn through the years by his brother and five sisters.

The body was taken to the Bendorf Funeral Home, where services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. H.C. Jorgensen of First Lutheran Church officiated, with interment in Prairie View Cemetery near Washington.

Mr. Rasmussen, son of the late Martin and Ane Margreda Rasmussen, was born near Kennard, and spent his entire life in this county.

Surviving him are a brother, Elmer Rasmussen of Blair; and five sisters, Mrs. Hannah Hasselstrom of Burley, Ida.; Mrs. Anna Andersen, Mrs. George Frank (Hertha), Mrs. Leo Miller (Elna), and Mrs. Charles Misfeldt (Helena), all of Blair.
