| Funeral services for Dorothy M. Anderson of Fremont were held February 23, 1988, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Gerald Roberts of Four Square Church officiated.
Organist was Mrs. Gerald Roberts, and Janette Davis was the soloist.
Burial was in Ridge Cemetery, Fremont.
Pallbearers were Russ, Mark and Donald Anderson, and Max, Allen and Brian Davis.
Dorothy was born July 30, 1912, in Blair to George and Maude (Monroe) Eliassen.
She previously lived at Rockford, Illinois, from 1942-45, and before that, lived in Blair.
On February 23, 1933, she married John E. Anderson in Blair.
Mr. Anderson preceded her in death October 9, 1977.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother George Eliassen, three sisters, Etta Johnson, Tillie Dunn and Maudie May, and by one grandchild.
Survivors include sons Erwin J. "Andy" Anderson and George Anderson, both of Fremont; daughter Mrs. Max (Joan) Davis of Fremont, brothers, Charles, Francis and James Eliassen, all of California, sister Mrs. Bea Mills of Fremont, 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont handled the arrangements. |
