Erich John Bohringer, 42

Erich John Bohringer, 42, of Blair died Sunday, July 21, 2013, at his home in Blair.

A memorial prayer service will be 7 p.m. Friday, July 26, at Black Elk-Neihardt Park in Blair. A gathering will begin at 5 p.m. at the park prior to the service.

Erich John Bohringer was born April 19, 1971, in Omaha, to Carl and Sue Ann (McAlister) Bohringer.

He was raised in Omaha and attended North High School.

He moved to Florida and began to learn the plumbing trade. He moved back to Omaha where he was a member of Local 16 out of Omaha.

He enjoyed life and especially spending time with his children. He had a deep passion for the outdoors, especially hunting, and enjoyed sharing that love with his family. He was proud of, and cherished, his sobriety.

He is survived by his son, Michael of Blair; daughter, Anna Mae of Fremont; grandson, Gabriel Bohringer; father and step-mother, Carl and Carla Bohringer of Blair; siblings, Staci McClendon of Warrensburg, Mo., Raymund Bohringer of Cole Camp, Mo., Carla Warren of Blair and John McAlister Toman of Tampa, Fla.; step-father, Jim Toman of Tampa, Fla.; grandmother, Maebelle McAlister of Seffner, Fla.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Anne McAlister.
