Services for Gale Edward Palmer, Sr., 70 of Fremont who died at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha were Wednesday, February 27 at Kremer Funeral Home in Omaha. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Omaha.

Gale Edward Palmer, Sr. was born February 12, 1921 in Kascusko County, Indiana. He had lived in LaMirada, California for several years before moving to Fremont. He was maintenance engineer at a school in the Omaha area.

He married Lorena Wells in Las Vegas. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, Gale E. Palmer, Jr. of Arlington; two step-sons, Charles Gard of Arlington and John Gard of Valley; a step-daughter, Loretta Hays of Arlington; 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
