Miss Panning Buried at Hooper

Miss Mildred* Panning who passed away June 5, 1961 at Fremont, Nebraska, at age of 52, had spent her entire life in the Hooper community having been born there April 14, 1909. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Hooper and was an active member in the Ladies Aid and the Church choir.

Since the death of her parents she had made her home with her brother, Otis Panning. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Louis (Gertrude) Mukswitz of Isle, Minnesota; Mrs. Harvey Stork of Arlington, and four brothers, Paul of Fremont, Otis, Louis and Gilbert of Hooper.

The funeral service was held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Hooper Wednesday, June 7th with the Rev. T. E. Eckhardt officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
