Services were Tuesday, May 28 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont for Fred T. Panning, 97 of Fremont who died May 25, 1991 in Fremont. Rev. Donald Levenhagen officiated.

Fred T. Panning was born September 5, 1893 in Dodge County. He lived in rural Hooper-Uehling area and in Fremont since 1943.

He farmed east of Winslow until 1943 at which time he moved to Fremont. He then worked for the State Departments of Roads until his retirement in 1960.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont.

He married Lillie Pawling January 31, 1916 in Fremont. She preceded him in death October 31, 1977.

He is survived by two daughters, Beth (Mrs. Howard) Moll and Lois (Mrs. Elmer) Krohn, both of rural Herman; a son, Clyde of Fremont; a sister, Lottie Panning of Fremont; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Home in Fremont was in charge of arrangements.
