Anna K. Parcher, 94

Anna K. Parcher, 94, of Omaha, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, in Omaha.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Anna K. Jensen was born on Sept. 27, 1915 in Anoka to Thomas and Lauretta Jensen.

She was raised in Spencer, and graduated from Spencer High School.

She married Donald Parcher in 1944, and they had two daughters. Mrs. Parcher lived in Blair for more than 40 years and worked as a chef before retiring to take care of her father. She enjoyed knitting and gardening and was a member of the Blair chapter of TOPS. She moved to Omaha in 2001 to be closer to her family.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Pat and Jay Fleming of Harrisonville, Mo., and Kathleen and Chris Olson of Omaha; grandsons Tim Sterner of Adrain, Mo., Tony Sterner of Harrisonville, and Jeremey Olson of Omaha; and great-grandsons Tyler, Allex and Gavyn Sterner of Harrisonville.

She was preceded in death by her five brothers, Lars, Neils, Chris, Albert and Woodrow, her two sisters, Ellen Shea and Marie Wheatley, and a grandson, Erik Olson.
