| A memorial service was held August 17 in Los Angeles for Cynthia Shanahan Anderson, 42 who died August 12, 1991.
Cynthia Shanahan Anderson was born in Blair June 27, 1949. She graduated from Columbus High School and the University of Iowa.
She was the winner of numerous awards in the graphic and typographic arts and founder of the Los Angeles Downtown Business Arts League. She was director of communications for the Museum of Contemporary Arts in Los Angeles.
She is survived by her husband, Elliott; a daughter, Erin; her parents, Howard and Mignon Shanahan and six sisters and one brother.
Memorials may be sent to the Museum of Contemporary Art, 250 S. Grand Ave, Los Angeles, California 90012. They should be earmarked for the Cynthia S. Anderson Memorial Fund. |
