Parish, Margaret

As the result of a long standing cough which might be considered consumption, Grandma Parish passed away Saturday evening. Her death was a beautiful one. Up to the very last she was conscious and realized that death was near. She realized also that she was going to her reward—the home of a good Christian. Mrs. Parish came here some two weeks ago from Cedar Rapids, Nebr., with her son, Frank. The funeral services will take place under the directions of the W. R. C. of the city, Rev. H. A. Barton, officiating. Mrs. Margaret Parish was the mother of thirteen children of which ten are living and among these are A.H. and J.D. Parish and Mrs. Dan Carter of this city, Frank and John of Cedar Rapids and Ed of Omaha. Mrs. Parish lived to a ripe old age and leaves her children the richest of gifts—the knowledge that all through her long life she was a devoted Christian, always setting a noble example to those about her.
