Mrs. Mary Parker, 85, Died Tuesday

Mrs. Mary Parker, 85, a one-time Kennard resident and a sister of Mrs. Emma Sutton of Blair, died Tuesday at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha. She had been visiting here a short time prior to her death. Mrs. Parker’s home was in Denver.

Mrs. Parker was born in Washington county in 1876 near Kennard. She grew to woman-hood there and was married to Kirby Parker. For a time the couple made the Kennard vicinity their home. Mr. Parker died about two years ago.

After leaving Kennard, about 50 years ago, the couple moved to Denver. She became ill and was taken to Memorial Community Hospital here Monday and transferred to Immanuel Hospital in Omaha Tuesday.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Irene Jenkins of St. Louis, Mo. and by two sisters, Mrs. Sutton of Blair and Anna Sutton, of Denver, and by two grandchildren. She is an aunt of John and Chester Sutton of Blair and Mrs. Elsie Lundt, of Omaha.

Funeral arrangements are being made by the Kramer Mortuary in Benson and burial will be made in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Omaha.
