Services For Leonard Parks Were Wed.

Services for 77 year old Leonard Parks were held Wednesday at the Sievers Mortuary in Fort Calhoun. Mr. Parks died on Sunday, May 7th at the Blair Hospital.

Mr. Parks was born on May 8, 1901 at Bolivar, Missouri. He was a bricklayer for most of his life and resided in Fort Calhoun for the past 21 years.

Burial was in the Hillcrest Cemetery with services handled by the Sievers Funeral Home.

Mr. Parks is survived by his wife May McVey Parks. The Parks have three daughters. They are Leona Tietge, Omaha, Lorraine Seeley, Omaha, and Partricia Janecek of Ft. Calhoun.

Surviving sisters are: Mrs. Ronnie Preston, of San Fernando, California, and Mabel Foreman of Fountain Valley, California. There are fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. There is one brother, Miles E. Parks of Omaha.

Pallbearers were all grandsons. They are: Patrick Teitge, Michael Teitge, Larry Janecek, Timothy Janecek, Earl Seeley and Paul Janecek.
