David E. Parrish, 60

Services for David E. Parrish, 60, who died March 26, 1994 in Lincoln were held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Lincoln Wednesday, March 30. Graveside services were held with military honors bestowed at Ashland Cemetery.

David E. Parrish was born September 1, 1933 in Lincoln.

He received his B. S. in Education from Dana College in 1961 and taught at Blair High School during the years of 1961-1963 and 1964-1965. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He retired in 1988 from the Ag Communications Press Section at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara.

He is survived by his parents, Earl and Paula Parrish, Florissant, Missouri; sister JoAnn Ott, Hazelwood, Missouri; daughters, Elizabeth Smith, Mesa, Arizona and Kathryn Montira, Blair; Kristi Knox, Blue Springs, Missouri and Paula Curran, Lincoln and one son, Michael, Rancho Cucamonga, California. He has 15 grandchildren and one great- grandchild.

Pallbearers were members of the Marine Corps League.
