Funeral services for 84 year old Corinne A. Marshall, of Arlington, will be on Thursday, January 15th, at 2:00 p.m. in the Arlington Community Church.

Mrs. Marshall died on Sunday, January 11th, 1987, at the Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont.

Corinne A. Stewart was born on September 18, 1902, at Blair, Nebraska. She attended Berlin Grade School, west of Blair and graduated from Blair High School in 1921. Before her marriage she taught school south of Arlington.

She was married to John W. Marshall who died on October 20, 1978. The couple was married on June 14, 1922 in Fremont. She and her husband farmed in the Kennard and Arlington areas. She was a cook at the Arlington School for several years.

She is survived by a son Stewart Marshall of Sacramento, California; a daughter Mrs. Robert (Mary Alice) Newkirk of Fremont; a brother Sam R. Stewart of Blaine, Minnesota; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Marshall was a member of the Arlington Community Church and the Arlington Community Church Women’s’ organization.

Visitation began on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington. The Rev. Robert Saunders will officiate at the 2:00 p.m. Thursday funeral along with the Rev. Eddie Masters of the Fremont Alliance Church. Burial will be in the Prairie View Cemetery near Washington, Nebraska.

Memorials can be sent to the Arlington Rescue Squad.

Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Lucy Belle (Downing) Stewart; her husband John; brothers Jay, Paul, Roscoe and Ted Stewart; sisters Lola Nelson and Mae Nelson and a great-grandson Michael Larsen.

Soloist will be Melvin Misfeldt with Mrs. Kay Voss at the organ.

Pallbearers include: Neal and Roger Andreasen, Joe Stewart Jr., George Stewart, Loran Rogers and H. U. (Bud) Gaines.
