Rites Being Held Today For Mrs. W. J. Sas, 50

Wife of Well-known Blair Merchant Sick Many Years

Mrs. Wm. J. Sas, after a protracted illness covering six years died at her home on South Walker Avenue on Tuesday morning July 23rd, at 4:30 o’clock.

As Della Henderson she was born to the late John W. Henderson in Blair on November 10, 1889. Her entire life was spent in Blair. She received her education in the Blair schools and on June 15, 1910, she was married to Wm. J. Sas, well known merchant of Blair.

During their thirty years of married life two daughters were born to them, Mrs. Marie Jensen of Blue Jay, California, and Miss Kathryn at home. Mrs. Sas is the youngest of her family and the last to die, she having three sisters and a brother who had preceded her in death.

Blair friends who know both Mr. and Mrs. Sas have only kind words of sympathy for the bereaved husband and the daughters in their great and irreparable loss which nothing but time can heal.

Mrs. Sas was a member of the Methodist church and the funeral rites are being held in that church this (Thursday) afternoon at two o’clock with Rev. Ralph P. Rasmussen officiating and the interment will be made in the Blair Cemetery.
