Services Held In Arlington on Mon. For John Marshall

Services were held at Arlington Community Church in Arlington on Monday, October 23, for John Marshall, age 77. He died Friday, October 20, at Memorial Hospital in Fremont.

Rev. Herbert Kelly and Rev. Eddie Masters officiated at the service. Mrs. Alvin Voss was organist. Burial was in Prairie View Cemetery near Washington, Nebraska.

John Marshall was born to Oliver and Minnie Johnson Marshall in Arlington on July 17, 1901. He farmed in the Arlington area until retiring and was a member of the Arlington Community Church. He married Corinne A. Stewart of Blair at Fremont on June 14, 1922.

He is survived by his wife, Corinne; a son, Stewart of Sacramento, California; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mary Alice) Newkirk of Fremont, and one sister, Mrs. Marian Koenig, Riverton, Wyoming. Five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive him.
