EMIL RATHJEN, 89, BURIED AT FORT CALHOUN THURSDAY AFTERNOON
Funeral services are being held at Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church this Thursday afternoon for Emil Rathjen, age 89. Rev. Donald Killin will officiate and interment will follow in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery with the Sievers Funeral Home in charge.
Serving as pallbearers are Harry Lund, Russell Christensen, Fred Gregerson, Art Henricksen, Lester Thunn and Edgar Frahm.
Emil Rathjen is survived by his wife, Annie; two sons, Albert and Raymond of Fort Calhoun; three daughters, Mrs. Selby Taylor, Omaha, Mrs. Clarence Voss and Mrs. Jim Knag of Fort Calhoun; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
