SERVICES FOR GEORGE RATHMAN WILL BE THURSDAY
Services for 76 year old George C. Rathman will be held on Thursday, October 12 at 2 p.m. in the Congregational Church in Blair. Rev. John Fritzmeier will officiate with burial in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Funeral Home.
Mr. Rathman died on Monday, October 9th, at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair. Mr. Rathman was born in Kennard, Nebraska on June 27, 1902. He was married to the former Dorothy Rogers and later moved to Blair. Mr. Rathman was a Linotype operator until his retirement several years ago.
Mr. Rathman is survived by his wife Dorothy and one son, Andrew. Andrew, his wife and three children live at Sterling, Virginia.
Surviving brothers and sisters are: Harold Hoeppner of Lincoln; Mrs. Floyd (Ethel) Tyler of Grand Island; Mrs. Paul (Marie) Alfrich of Hewet, Minnesota; and Verna Richardson of Phoenix, Arizona.
