Sharon Ann Landin was born May 3, 1948, in Sheboygan to Vernon Landin and Grace Kuehl Landin.

She attended school in Sheboygan before the family moved to California.

After graduating from Pomona High School, she attended California State University of Los Angeles, and then graduated from Spring Garden College in Philadelphia, where she received her bachelor of science degree in 1970.

In 1972, she married Barry Schweig of Los Angeles. The couple had two daughters, Heather Grace and Victoria Rose.

In 1982, the family settled in Blair. Mrs. Schweig had a 30-year career as a medical technologist. She worked in the lab at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, beginning in 1982, until she transferred to Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Hospital in 1997 to be close to her family and help care for her mother.

She enjoyed biking, hiking, cross-country skiing, kayaking, tai chi and had a black belt in tae kwon do.

She enjoyed traveling "up north" to her land in Crivitz and visiting Door County. She loved traveling with her daughters and friends and visiting her granddaughters in Omaha and Rio Rancho, N.M. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends.

She had a strong will to live and enjoyed life. Despite her last year of chronic health issues, she showed her family the values of perseverance, patience and most of all strength.

She was a kind, thoughtful and generous person with a strong work ethic. She left an impression on all those lives she touched.

She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Heather and Nathan Roberts of Omaha and Victoria Culkin of Rio Rancho; three granddaughters; two brothers, Dennis Landin of Sheboygan and Mark Landin of Las Vegas; three nieces and their husbands; one nephew; three great-nieces and two great-nephews.
