DEATH OF MRS. RATHMANN

At the family home in Blair, on Thursday evening at 9:30 o’clock, occurred the death of Hester Frances, wife of C.H. Rathmann.

Hester Frances Caldwell was born in Washington county on July 4, 1874. She became the wife of Chris Rathmann on December 17, 1899. To this union were born six children: Ethel, George, Marie, Chrissie, Verna and Martin, all living, who together with the husband; Mrs. Allie Kinkaid, of Washington, Nebr., Mrs. Retta Erwin of Gaymon, Oklahoma; Jas. S., W.E., A.J., and George V. Caldwell of Blair, Decatur and Walthill, respectively, sisters and brothers, remain to mourn her loss.

The deceased was a good woman, a kind mother and will be greatly missed by the immediate family.

The funeral occurred at the M.E. Church Sunday at 2 o’clock, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Chas. P. Lang.

DEATH’S CLAIMS

Mrs. C.H. Rathmann died at the family residence in this city last Thursday evening and the funeral was held from the Methodist church Sunday afternoon, Rev. Lang officiating. Besides a husband, she leaves six children, Ethel, Georgie, Marie, Chrissie, Verna and Martin; also two sisters, Mrs. Allie Kincaid of Washington, Neb., and Mrs. Retta Erwin of Guyman, Okla.; also four brothers, James S. of this city, Wm. E. of Decatur and A.J. and George V. of Walthill. Hester Frances Caldwell was born in Washington county July 4, 1874, and was married to Chris Rathmann, December 17, 1899. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved relatives and motherless children.
