Fredricka M. Wilson, 83

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 13 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Blair for Fredricka M. Wilson, 83, who died at her Blair home August 10, 1996. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Fredricka M. Wilson was born May 28, 1913 in Blair to Ed and Rose Jahnel Matthiesen. She attended school in Blair and graduated from Blair High School in 1931. She attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, graduating in 1935. She was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority.

She was the first countess to represent Blair at Ak-Sar-Ben. She was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church and served as the director of Christian education for many years. She was a member of the American Association of University Women; the Bench Club, Federated Club and was involved in the Washington County Association for Retarded Citizens and the Martin Luther Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Bill; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Helen Wilson, Blair; a daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Bill Gunlicks, Glenco., Illinois; six grandchildren, Ed Wilson, Elizabeth Wilson, Emily Wilson, Nissa Gunlicks, Annalee Gunlicks and William Gunlicks and one sister, Louise Magee of Blair.

Memorials may be directed to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church or Martin Luther Home of Omaha.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
