WM. J. RATHMANN, 90
Dr. Wm. J. Rathmann, 90, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 1997, at Las Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
Dr. Rathmann was born Dec. 29, 1906, to Gus and Grace Rathmann of Blair. He attended Dana College, the University of Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical School in 1932. He interned in the Seaman’s Hospital in Oregon and practiced medicine in New Mexico and California until retiring to Thousand Oaks.
He was a member of The Adventures Club and various professional organizations.
Survivors are his wife, Frances; a sister, Marguerite Dixon; and nieces, Joan Quist, Judy McMaster and Joy Petersen.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Curtis Rathmann and Dr. Norman Rathmann.
