Anna Matilda Raver, 90, a life-time resident of Washington County and a resident of Blair for 50 years, died at Memorial Community Hospital here Wednesday morning, July 18th. She had been in failing health for some time.

Miss Raver was born in the Glendale school district 8 miles northwest of Blair on January 22, 1872. She lived on the farm with her parents for forty years, attending the Glendale school and then turning her attention to the study of music. In 1912 her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William A. She was fond of travel and made numerous trips to places in this country and to Canada. She also made a trip to Europe.
