Services for 84 year old Helene C. Jahnel were held on Monday, April 23rd. at the Campbell Funeral Home in Blair. The 2 p.m. service was conducted by Rev. Wayne Josephson with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Jahnel was born at Kennard, Nebraska, on July 14th. 1894. She died on Thursday, April 19th. at the Blair Hospital. She was baptized into the Lutheran Faith and attended the Brewster School. She was married on April 6, 1916, to Chris Jahnel in Blair.

Her husband, Chris preceded her in death in April of 1973. There were also two brothers and two sisters that preceded her death.

She is survived by two daughters, one son, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one brother. The children are Mrs. Martin (Martha) Voss of Blair; Mrs. Marie Suverkrubbe of Fort Calhoun, Nebraska and Kenneth Jahnel of Blair. The surviving brother is Wm. Vogt of Blair.

Pallbearers were: George Lauritsen, Glen Vogt, Hansel Vogt, Duane Vogt, Wm Wulbern and William Michael.
