ARTHUR G. RAY, 76

Services for Arthur G. Ray, 76 of Blair who died February 11, 1996 at Veterans Hospital in Omaha will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 15, 1996 at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

A Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Arthur G. Ray was born August 8, 1919 in Washington County, Nebraska to Glyn and Keturah Caldwell Ray.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy from December of 1940 to November of 1943.

He worked as a sash and door cutter for Jeld-Wen Millworks in Oregon for 20 years.

He moved back to Blair in 1987 and married Della Moore on September 2, 1990 in Blair.

He was a member of the Blair Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, Blair American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, the Herman Masonic Lodge and First Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Della of Blair; three brothers, Dale and Bob of Blair and Lee of Omaha; a sister, Nina Ray of Bettendorf, Iowa; three step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
