CLIFFORD RAY BURIED WEDNESDAY

Mr. Clifford Ray suffered a coronary at the Blair Community Hospital on Monday, November 22nd.

Mr. Ray was born October 29, 1889, at Herman. His parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ray. On February 25, 1923, he was married to Goldie Jacobs. They farmed for many years. Nineteen years ago they moved to Blair and Mr. Ray has been the sexton at the Blair Cemetery since that time.

Besides his wife Goldie he is survived by a son, Clifforn, Jr., of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and a daughter, Mrs. Vernon Stacy (Sue) of Boone, Nebraska. Also seven grandchildren; a brother, Glen Ray of Tekamah; and two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Petersen of Lyons and Mrs. Cora Parrish of South Sioux City, Nebraska.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 P.M. at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Joel B. Kemmerer officiating. The Bendorf Funeral Home was in charge of services and burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Dale Ray, Lee Ray, Robert Ray, Kit Stacy, Darrell Ladwig and Arthur Beck.
