FORMER BLAIR LADY BURIED IN WALTHILL

Mrs. Mabel Alam died suddenly on November 18th on Corpus Christi, Texas.

Mabel Mary Allen was born May 8, 1914 to the late Louis Allen and Mary Allen Gesch. She was baptized in the Reorganized Latter Day Saints Church and was a member all her life.

On June 28, 1931 she was married to John A. Kramer at Walthill where they lived most of their life. To this union four sons, John Herman, James William, Ronald Allen and Gerry Lee. Mr. Kramer died on December 24, 1963. Two sons, John and James also preceded her in death.

On February 22, 1964 she was married to Arnold Alam of Corpus Christi.

For many years she was a member of the Women's Relief Corps at Blair.

Survivors besides her two sons, Ronald and Gerry of Lyons are her mother, Mrs. Wm. Gesch, Sr., a sister, Mrs. Floyd Nottleman, three brothers, Charles and Waine, all of Blair and Emmett of Sioux City, Iowa. Also three grandchildren.

Short funeral services were held in Corpus Christi. On November 23rd services were held at Walthill, Nebraska at the Methodist Church with Elder Russell Maryott of the L.D.S. Church officiating. He was assisted by Rev. Long of the Methodist Church. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Walthill beside her husband John Kramer. The Campbell Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were six nephews; Junior Ropken, Herman Allen, Richard Hineline, Melvin Nottleman, Dennis Saltzman and Samuel Kramer, Jr.
