Services were Mon., Oct. 7 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church for Louise M. Magee, 85 of Blair who died Oct. 4, 1996 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair after suffering a heart attack at her home. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Louise M. Magee was born May 26, 1911 in Blair to Edward and Rose Jahnel Matthiesen. She graduated from Blair High School in 1929. She was a member of Blair High School’s first band. In 1960, she graduated from Dana College and moved to California to be near her daughter. She taught elementary education at Mountain View, Calif. She moved back to Blair in 1989.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, PEO Sisterhood, Order of Eastern Star and the Republican Party.

She married Wilhelm Grimm. He preceded her in death in 1958. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Bruce and a sister, Fredricka Wilson.

She is survived by two children, Janet (Mrs. Lee) Smith of Herndon, CA; and Paul Grimm of Chippewa Falls, Wis., and two grandchildren.
