DOROTHY A. RAYBOULD, 82

Former Blair resident, Dorothy A. Raybould, 82, of Grove City, Penn., died March 2, 2008, at the Grove City Medical Center, following a brief illness.

Funeral services were March 5 at the Ficca Funeral Home in Grove City. Interment was at Crestview Memorial Park in Grove City.

Dorothy A. Campbell was born April 8, 1925, in Ellwood City, Penn., to Henry G. and Lena G. (Mershimer) Campbell. Following graduation from Slippery Rock (Penn.) High School, she graduated in 1946 from Slippery Rock University. She taught for one year at Harlansburg, Penn., and later at the Wee Junior Nursery School in Grove City for several years.

She was a member of the Slippery Rock United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

On Jan. 20, 1946, she married Jackson E. Raybould. Mrs. Raybould lived in Blair from 1962 until 1969, when her family moved to Omaha. They later moved to Tulsa, Okla., and then to Grove City, Penn., in 1972. While residing in Blair, she was a member of the Blair United Methodist Church and the Blair Country Club.

Mrs. Raybould is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Dwight Ayers of New Baden, Ill.; Susan McKenzie of Albers, Ill.; and Patty Jo and Bruce Orr of Grove City; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackson, in January 2000; a son, David; brother, George Campbell; and a sister, Geraldine Campbell.
