SERVICES HELD FOR BLAIR MAN’S MOTHER FRIDAY

Funeral services for Elverda Louise Raymond, 65, of Tekamah were held Friday, August 6, 1982, at the First Baptist Church in Tekamah.

Elverda Louise Raymond was born August 25, 1916, in Norwalk, Iowa, and died August 3, 1982, of cancer at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha. She had lived in the Tekamah area for the past 35 years.

She married Clifford L. Raymond on July 31, 1938, in Princeton, Missouri. Besides her husband, Clifford, preceding her in death were a daughter, Barbara Martin, and a son, Monty.

She is survived by two sons, Mark, of Blair, and Clifford of LaVista; and one daughter, Joyce Conklin, of Moscow, Idaho. Six grandchildren; seven sisters; one brother; and many other relatives and friends also survive her.

Pallbearers were Greg Sheets, Leslie Warren, Terry Pickell, Larry Jackson, Dave Ray and Jim Tobin.
