DENNIS RAY REDEL, 48

Dennis Ray Redel, 48, of Bennington, died Monday, October 2, 2000, in Bennington.

Funeral services were held on Oct. 5, 2000, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington. The Rev. John Pierson officiated. Interment was at Flower Hill Cemetery in Bennington.

Dennis Ray Redel was born March 3, 1952 in Norfolk. He graduated from Wayne High School in 1970, and moved to Bennington in 1971.

On February 12, 1972, he married Gayle Collins in Elkhorn.

He was a 30-year employee of Baker’s Supermarkets in the Omaha area.

He is survived by his wife, Gayle; father, John F. Redel of Wayne; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Joy Redel; daughter, Tiffany Redel, all of Bennington; sister and brother-in-law, Leila and Darrell Braesch of Omaha; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary “Fritz” and Linda Redel of Bennington, Larry and Kathy Redel of Columbus, and Stanley “Butch” and Joann Redel of Omaha; and a granddaughter.

Hadan-Golden-Reichmuth Mortuary in Bennington was in charge of arrangements.
